was born in Bronx, New York of Cuban and Ecuadorian
                                       descent. For over ten years, she studied Classical Ballet
                                       and Flamenco under the nation’s leading school
                                       located in New York City, Ballet Hispanico. Because of
                                       her continue love for art and dance, she has studied
                                       Belly Dancing for years with many internationally
                                       acclaimed Master Teachers.
                                               As well as perfecting her dance techniques with
                                       continued classes, Michelle has also taken many
                                       workshops to master Middle Eastern props including
                                       Sword, Wings, Veil, Finger Cymbals, Fan and Cane.
     In addition to her passion for dance, she owned and operated a family entertainment
business where she had the chance to perform and emcee many shows for special events,
private parties and school functions. Some may also remember her as Michelle Mendez, radio
personality for 97.3 the Coast morning show, Those Two Girls In The Morning. Currently, she
is pursuing a new career as an Optometric Physician at Nova Southeastern University.  
  However, the passion to dance is embedded in her forever and she enjoys teaching and
performing Middle Eastern Dance as a form of exercise and to inspire and empower women
of all ages.
